However, there surely is a need for us to thank a very special part of our team: our honeybees in Brazil with their God-given knowledge. They have been able for millions of years to develop one of the most advanced ecosystems that we know of: the beehive from where we collect our propolis. We have so much to learn from them!

Beginning this Thursday September 22 we will be officially launching it at the Natural Products Expo East in Baltimore. Next week a new website version of www.naturanectar.com will be up with all the details on the new products and the information reflecting the massive progress we’ve had in the last months.

In the next weeks I will be writing individual postings on each product to better communicate their benefits to you, our readers! I am so proud of our team, every one of you that somehow touched this line.

The True Red Bees!

I couldn’t resist the buzz in the net yesterday and today from the New Your Times to other NY publications about these Red Hook, Brooklyn bees that mysteriously turn themselves red and started to produce a red color honey. The strange occurrence generated speculation that maybe this was caused by some unknown disease. I was intrigued and fascinated by the possibility  that maybe we were dealing with some new type of bees! It turned out that these Brooklyn bees decided to make a stop somewhere where Red Dye No. 40 – a common food coloring – is used, most likely at Dell’s Maraschino Cherries Company over on Dikeman Street in Red Hook…  So if you are disappointed these bees aren’t really red after all, here is a piece of good news!

Our propolis producing bees in Brazil, although not red in color, what they do is truly amazingly RED!

The October 2010 Online Edition of Whole Foods Magazine, a leading trade publication for the natural foods industry, brings an informative editorial called “It’s a Women’s World” where EaseFemin and our ingredient, the Brazilian Red Bee Propolis are mentioned several times.
